OUR POLICIES

PRICING. Our prices are fair and firm and have not been inflated to allow for discounts.

PROCESSING. Banking and shipping are done once a week at 12Noon on Wednesday, Central Time.
If payment is received after that time, the order will be shipped the following Wednesday.

PAYMENTS PENDING. Merchandise will be put on a 10-day "Hold" from the date of our reply to your inquiry. If payment is not received within that time, the merchandise will be removed from "Hold" status.

RETURNS. If we have misrepresented or incorrectly identified an item, or overlooked a condition problem, please contact us and let us know where the problem exists. We SCENTSerely want you to be happy with your purchase. No returns on foreign sales. Please ask questions before you make a purchase.

Do not open a bottle that has never been opened or use a solid perfume that was previously unused. It will diminish the value of the container and, more importantly, it will not be accepted for return.

WE SPECIALIZE IN SELLING VINTAGE PERFUME BOTTLES - not hard-to-find fragrances. We cannot, and do not, guarantee the quality (freshness) of the perfume remaining in any container -- opened or unopened.

MAGAZINE ADVERTISING - NO RETURNS

You are buying a piece of paper -- a page from a vintage magazine -- not the product(s) shown in the ad!

All of our magazine advertising is original and is sold "as found."
You will receive the entire page regardless of the size of the ad.
Ads that are less than full page will not be cut off the page and sold at a reduced price.
Ads are photographed so that the entire page is displayed.
The pages are either cut out, or lifted out of the magazines.
Pages are not trimmed to minimize edge flaws. If previous trimming is suspected, it will be stated in the description.

PRICING. Our prices are fair and firm and have not been inflated to allow for discounts - including quantity discounts.

TERMS USED TO DESCRIBE CONDITION
Bleed - color runs off the edges of the page on one or more sides.
Chipping - small pieces of missing paper (the result of foxing) generally found on the outer edges of the page.
Cut ad - may have an irregular edge.
Foxing - darkening of the paper from age.
Gutter - a narrow border on the binding edge of a bleed ad.
Ink bleed-through - it is common for some ink to bleed through from the ad on the reverse side, and to transfer to an adjacent page (does not affect value).
Lifted ad - binding staples were removed and the ad was separated from the glue on the spine. One edge of the page will have staple holes and, occasionally, a small amount of glue residue which seeped between the pages in the binding process.

REGARDING NEW YORKER MAGAZINE ADS
1. The paper used in this publication did not fare well with time. Very often, the pages will have varying stages of allover foxing with darker discoloration on the outer edges.
2. It is not unusual to find ads with a vertical center crease. Years ago subscribers' copies were folded and wrapped in a brown paper sleeve for mailing. Depending on where the ad appeared in the magazine, the crease may or may not be visible.
3. This publication was stapled on a folded edge. No glue was involved. Staple holes may or may not be visible.
