NINA RICCI L'AIR DU TEMPS GARNET DOVES, WITH BOX - LALIQUE (AS IS)
Beautiful garnet double doves Lalique bottle.  Never opened - stopper still tied down.  Colored dove stoppers on L'Air du Temps bottles appeared in early 1990s and were discontinued over 10 years ago. Garnet is the official color name for this stopper. It was one of the first 3 colors produced (eight different colors in all). Color changes in different types of light - daylight was used in photo - halogen light shows as a very light cranberry. Hexagonal birdcage box.  Yellow satin ribbon ties on doors, plastic flowered knob on top and 6 plastic flowered feet - original foam packing inside box.  Outer box.  Original retail price: $225.

Frosted and clear bottle from Coty for "Emeraude" perfume. Bottom embossed "Coty. Bottle Made in France." Gold lettering (label) on front. Quarter ounce size.  "Emeraude" was launched in 1923.  This bottle is probably from the 1960's.

CARON "FLEURS DE ROCAILLE" MINI PERFUME WITH BOX
This lovely little mini perfume presentation was made by Caron and held a ¼ oz. of the fragrance "Fleurs de Rocaille." The fragrance was introduced to the market in 1934. This bottle dates probably from the 1960s. The glass stopper has a paper label on the top with a bouquet of flowers and a plastic-covered neck. There is a tiny, narrow, paper label on the front with the fragrance name. Bottom label - 7.5 ml.  The shiny paper box has an applied paper label with a bouquet of flowers. Gold foil bottom label. The bottle lays flat in the box in a die-cut paper opening. Has its original inspection paper.
Size: Bottle - 1 5/8" x 1 3/8".  Box - 2 1/4" x 2 3/4" x 1".   Condition:  Bottle and stopper are in excellent condition.  Front label is a little crimped on the right side but is intact and very readable.  The box has a small stain on the right side of the opening for the bottle near the neck -- otherwise, the interior is quite clean.

LUCIEN LELONG "INDISCRET" MINI PERFUME BOTTLE
This vintage Lucien LeLong mini perfume bottle is designed like a piece of draped fabric.  It is empty now, but held .15 fl. oz. of the fragrance "Indiscret." Gold foil label on front.
Size:  1 7/8" h. x 1 3/4" w. Condition:  bottle is excellent.  The gold foil label is in very good condition -- no tears or missing foil -- some of the printing shows signs of wear. The gold paint on the black cap is worn on the sides around the base near the neck of the bottle.

EVYAN "WHITE SHOULDERS" PERFUME ATOMIZER BOTTLE
Unusual and hard to find.  this is an atomizer bottle for "White Shoulders" by Evyan. Frosted bottle is molded with leafy vines. Gold cap and peach atomizer bulb.  Bottom molded "Bottle Made West Germany." This atomizer bottle is probably from the late 1940's to the 1950's.

LELONG TING-A-LING PERFUME BOTTLE
This fabulous novelty bottle by Lucien Lelong was a 1949 special Christmas presentation.  It is very hard to find and is called the Ting-a-ling bottle.   It held various Lelong fragrances. The unusual design to this bottle has a brass cap, a metal band around the middle with six tinkling bells attached to it, and a brass base.
Size:  2 1/8"  Condition:  Overall condition is very good. There is darkening to parts of the brass consistent with age.  No label.

RARE MINI, BROWN GLASS, JOY PERFUME BOTTLE, 2 BOXES
Here is a very rare, brown glass -- perfume bottle for Jean Patou's "Joy" perfume. The 1/4 oz. (7 ml) bottle has never been opened. It has a red cap -- not the usual red and black glass cabochon stopper.  The gold lettering on the front of the bottle is in mint condition also.   There is a gold box with its original presentation paper, and a white and gold outer paper box, with cellophane, and with a price tag on the back showing the original price of the perfume.  This bottle is a rare and unusual mini.
Size:  Bottle -  2 1/4" x 1 5/8" Box - 3 1/4" x 2 3/4"  Condition:  The bottle and stopper are in mint condition. The interior of the box is in mint condition.  The exterior of the box shows some rubbing marks.  There are some indentations in the paper. There are no tears or split corners.

WEIL "CASSANDRA" PERFUME BOTTLE
This is the classic Ionic column perfume bottle used by Weil for "Cassandra" perfume in 1935. This lovely crystal bottle is acid etched "France" on the bottom.  It has a gilded "W" on the top of the stopper, gold lettering around the base of the column, and is detailed in gold on the sides of the stopper. This is a beautiful crystal bottle.
Size:  2 7/8"  Condition:  Excellent.  The gold lettering and detail are in perfect condition.

This clear pleated bottle held "Intoxication" perfume by D'Orsay.  The fragrance was launched in 1942.  Gold plastic cap. Bottom embossed with maker and fragrance name.

D'ALBRET "ECUSSON" PERFUME BOTTLE AND BOX
This is a lovely perfume bottle by Jean D'Albret that held 1/4 ounce of "Ecusson" perfume. It is a classic urn shaped bottle with faceted clear glass stopper.  Gold cord around neck of bottle and attached around base of stopper.  Gold foil label.  Bottom embossed "1/4 oz  France."  It comes in original orange, brown, and green floral box.
Size:  3 1/4" (bottle);  4 7/8" (box)  Condition: The bottle and label are in pristine condition.  The base of the box has a very light perfume stain where the bottle sits in the base. The rest of the box is in excellent condition.

D'ALBRET "ECUSSON" PERFUME BOTTLE AND BOX
This is a lovely perfume bottle by Jean D'Albret that held 1/4 ounce of "Ecusson" perfume. HOUBIGANT "QUELQUE FLEURS" MINI PERFUME BOTTLE
The fragrance "Quelque Fleurs" was trade marked by Houbigant in 1912.  This mini is a multi-faceted bottle with a gold plastic cap.  It has a round gold foil label on the bottom. It retains more than half of the original perfume.
Size:  2 1/2"  Condition:  The bottle and label are in perfect condition.  The gold cap shows some minor wear.

PRINCE MATCHABELLI, CLEAR & FROSTED CROWN, c.1934
This large, lovely bottle was made by Prince Matchabelli for the fragrance Duchess of York, c. 1934.  It is crown-shaped clear and frosted glass with a tiny glass frosted stopper.  Signed on the bottom - PRINCE MATCHABELLI. 
Size:  3 1/4"  Condition: Overall excellent condition. Casting flaw on the edge of the base; feels rough but is not a chip.

LUCIEN LELONG, INDISCRETE, 1 oz.
Vintage Lucien Lelong Indiscrete perfume bottle - 1 oz. Size.  This is not the reissued bottle from 1997 - this is the vintage bottle (c. 1930s) - satin glass.  Glass bow stopper.  Gold foil label on base and large bottom label. 
Size:  5 3/4"  Condition:  Excellent. No chips, cracks, or fractures. Mint bottom label.  Base label has some loss to the gold color but the lettering is still nice and black.

WRISLEY, GOLD TASSELS COLOGNE, c.1942
The Wrisley Company made this lovely tassel-shaped bottle for their Gold Tassels Cologne, c.1942.  The bottle is frosted with an ivory-colored plastic or bakelite cap.  Still retains its original gold-colored tassel cord around the neck.  The bottle is empty. Fluid content was 4 oz.  Bottom label is almost mint - a small corner is missing, but is clean and still very readable (see photo).
Size:  5 1/4"  Condition:  Excellent. No chips, cracks, or fractures.

D’ORSAY, BELLE DE JOUR, c.1938
D'Orsay made this unusual white glass perfume bottle for the fragrance Belle de Jour, c. 1938.  The large and beautiful stopper features a hand holding a 3-loop ribbon bow.  The ruffled ribbon theme flows down and around the bottle on both sides.  The bottle has a matte finish. There is an area on the side of the bottle that wraps parially around the front and back that was not acid-etched to a matte surface and is shiny (difficult to show in a photo), does not detract from the piece.
Size:  5 1/2"  Condition:  Very good.  Bottle has no chips or cracks.  The base of the stopper neck has a very small chip (not visible when stopper is in place.)

LUCIEN LELONG, INDISCRET, GOLD BOW CAP, c.1940s
This Lucien Lelong bottle for the fragrance, Indiscret, was part of a presentation made in the 1940s, and was called, Place Vendome.  (See: Perfume Presentation, by Ken Leach, Kres Publishing, Inc., Toronto Canada, pg. 74, pic. 102.) 
Size: 5"  Condition: Base of bottle has 2 small ships and a flake (see photo).  Can be seen only when bottle is upside-down.  Cap appears to have been regilded - has antique look.

CARON, NARCISSE NOIR, FIRST SIZE
This vintage perfume flacon is the first size bottle for Caron's, Narcisse Noir.  This old version has an all glass stopper.  Concave bottom with tiny round label.  Bottle and stopper have matching etched numbers.
Size: 1 5/8"  Condition: Very good.  Bottle has no chips or cracks.  Two very tiny flea bits on stopper neck.  Shoulder label missing.

ELIZABETH ARDEN, MEMOIRE CHERIE, c.1953
This lovely frosted glass bottle was made by Elizabeth Arden for the fragrance, Memoire Cherie.  Bottle features woman with crossed arms; stopper is woman's head.  Original double-sided, gold foil hang-tag is attached.  One side has the perfume name, the other side has the maker and perfume names and fluid contents - 1 7/8 oz.  Bottom of bottle signed, BOTTLE MADE IN FRANCE, ARDEN, in raised letters.
Size: 5"  Condition: Overall near mint.  Stopper in excellent condition, all features are perfect - no chips.  Bottle in near mint condition - one very tiny flake on back of bottle edge (see photos).

ELIZABETH ARDEN, QUEEN ELIZABETH BUST, c.1957
This huge bottle was made by Elizabeth Arden for, Blue Grass Flower Mist, c.1957.  The figure represents Queen Victoria.  No label.  Bottom of bottle marked MADE IN ITALY.  In addition to visible seams and bubbles, there is an imperfection on the bottle rim that appears white, and another on the back of the base which appears black (see photos).
Size: 12 1/4" x 5"  Condition: Very good.  The bottle has no chips or cracks.  Two imperfections in the glass as noted.

COTY, EMERAUDE, E.D.T. – DUMMY, c.1916
This is a very large Dummy bottle for, Emeraude de Coty, Eau de Toilette.  Designed by Lalique (c.1909) and used for many Coty fragrances.  Stopper features the Briar design with sepia stain. Bottle is rectangular with slightly sloping shoulders and chamfered corners.  Stopper is tied to the bottle with black cord. Original filament (stained) is 99% intact. The word, DUMMY, is acid-etched on the back near the base.  The bottom is signed, COTY-FRANCE, in raised letters.  Label in excellent condition.  This striking bottle will definitely make a statement in your collection.  Weighs 15.8 oz.
Size: 8 5/8" x 2 1/4" square. Condition: Bottle in excellent condition. No chips or cracks. Stopper in excellent condition - some very tiny flakes on underside (see photo).  There is some condensation on the inside back of the bottle.

SARAVEL, MOROCCO, c.1939
Unique cube perfume bottle made by Saravel for the fragrance, Morocco, c.1939.  Brass corner over-cap is impressed with the word, Morocco, on one side. There is also a brass ball screw-on cap underneath the corner cap.  Bottle has the name, Saravel, in raised script letters on one side.
Size: 1 3/4" square Condition: Bottle and both caps in mint condition.

CHARLES OF THE RITZ, DIRECTOIRE, 3/8 oz., c.1946
This very delicate urn-shaped bottle was made by Charles of the Ritz, c.1946.  The bottle is empty now but once contained 3/8 fl.oz. of the fragrance, Directoire.  The maker name and fragrance name are in gilt script letters on two sides of the base of the bottle. Glass stopper.  Gilding is bright and intact.  The bottom of the bottle is polished and acid-etched, MADE IN FRANCE. This is a classic and "classy" bottle for the sophisticated perfume bottle collector.
Size: 3"  Condition: Bottle and stopper in mint condition.  No chips or cracks.

ESTEE LAUDER, YOUTH-DEW BATH OIL OR PERFUME
This is a 1/2 oz. bottle of Estee Lauder Youth-Dew Bath Oil (or perfume).  It is unopened and has no evaporation.  Comes in original box.
Size: 3 1/8"  Condition: Bottle and labeling pristine.  Box has a dent on the top and a slight split on the top edge. Sides show wear.

FABERGE, APHORODISIA, COLOGNE
Faberge introduced, Aphrodisia, in 1936. This lovely cologne has never been opened - however, there is some evaporation.  This is an old version of the bottle with an amber bakelite cap. Perfect gold lettering around the top of the bottle reads, COLOGNE APHRODISIA FABERGE.  The bottom of the bottle is signed, FABERGE.
Size: 3"  Condition: Excellent condition.  No chips or cracks.

BABS, YESTERYEAR, COMPOSITION BASE, c. 1939
This novelty perfume bottle by Babs Creations held the fragrance Yesteryear. The figure represents Scarlett O'Hara. She comes complete with her bouquet of velvety flowers surrounded by a paper doily and a pink velvet ribbon around her waist. Gilded bakelite cap. Perfume will be discarded before shipping. This RARE VERSION of this perfume presentation has a gold-colored COMPOSITION BASE. It is most often seen with a gold metal base. The composition base tended to discolor and turn very dark, but the base on this presentation is near perfect.
Size: 5 1/2" to top of glass dome. Condition: Excellent. Gold foil label is mint. Bottle and thin glass dome are in mint condition.

CARREL, FLORAL COLOGNE, CANDLE, c. 1950
Lovely satin glass candle for Carrel's Floral Cologne, c. 1950.  The bottle is molded in a spiral design with dripping wax, berries, and leaves around a flared base.  Red bakelite flame cap. Still retains about half of its original perfume (was 1 1/2 fl.oz.). A patent drawing for this bottle appears in Perfume, Cologne and Scent Bottles, Jacquelyne Y. Jones-North (Schiffer Pub) on pg 226, pic no 350
Size: 5 3/4" Condition: Excellent. Large bottom label has chipping around the edges but lettering is intact.

This bottle has never been opened, and there is no evaporation.  Stopper and top of bottle are silver plated. Comes with box.
Size: 3 3/4" h. x 1 3/4" w. Condition: Box is soiled on outside.  Couple of dark spots and light staining on inside cover - no stains to satin, -no split corners.

TERRI, EROTIQUE, CELLULOID BOTTLE, c.1927
For the sophisticated collector - this unique and hard-to-find perfume bottle was made by Terri Cosmetics, Inc. for the fragrance, Erotique, in 1927. The bottle and cap are made of celluloid with a very realistic faux alligator texture. As a matter of note, there is an ad for this perfume bottle in Vogue Magazine, dated November 1, 1927.  The bottle in the ad has no hang-tag or labeling. Along side the ad is a one column editorial promoting "...Terri's new perfume..."  It states the bottle was "encircled by a sterling silver wedding ring" - now missing.  I like to think that it was put on the finger of a young bride and that may be why it is no longer on the bottle!  It could easily and inexpensively be replaced.  Definitely a conversation piece.
Size: 2" x 1 15/16"  Condition: The edge of the cap has 5 tiny cracks approx. 1/8" (see photo)  because of the color and texture, are difficult to see and do not affect the way the cap screws onto the bottle. Bottle itself is in good condition
