HOUBIGANT MINI PERFUME BOTTLE WITH BRASS CASE, c.1931
Here is a hard-to-find Houbigant purse-sized mini perfume in a brass carrying case, c.1931. This bottle, in its case, is pictured in a 1931 Ladies' Home Journal advertisement (see Collector's Encyclopedia of Compacts, Carryalls and Face Power Boxes by Laura Mueller, Collector Books, pg. 306). It was used for numerous Houbigant fragrances, as stated in the ad. The bottle is empty. The stopper is entirely gilded. The bottle is flask-shaped (oval) and is made of fine glass. The bottom is marked in raised letters -- HOUBIGANT FRANCE. The bottle fits tightly in the case. The case is elongated octagonal in shape. It is hinged on the side, with a button on the opposite side to open the case. There is a green enameled chevron decoration on the center front and center back. The bottom is marked -- HOUBIGANT -- impressed in the metal. Case could be polished, if the new owner chooses to do so.
Size: Bottle - 2 3/8" h. x 1 3/16" w. x 1/2" d. Case - 2 1/2" h. x 1 1/4" wide x 5/8"d.
Condition: Excellent. No chips or cracks on the bottle or stopper. No wear to the gilding on the stopper. Very slight depression on the case, over the chevron, on one side (looks worse in the photo than it actually is). No corrosion of metal.

CHLOE, MINI PERFUME, PARFUM, BOTTLE, c.1975
Parfums International introduced the "Chloe" fragrance to the market in 1975. This mini perfume bottle has its original contents -- very little evaporation -- if any. The silver-printed decal label on the back of the bottle indicates the fluid content as .12 fl. oz. (3.7 ml) of Parfum (Perfume). The stopper is plastic in the shape of lilies.
Size: 2" h.
Condition: Excellent. No chips or cracks on the bottle. No damage to the stopper. Pristine label.

LES GRANDS PARFUMS DE FRANCE, SET OF 10 MINI PERFUME BOTTLES, c.1964
This 10-piece set of mini perfume bottles was made by Charles V Parfumer, Paris, France. All the bottles have black bakelite caps. The fragrances are: C'est, La, Vie, Entendu, Cheval Blu, Cordon D'Argent, Cordon D'Or, 1800, Croyance, Cordon Rouge. Five bottles are empty, 3 are full, 2 bottles are not full. The inside of the box shows some staining around one bottle cap (see photo). The inside cover has a couple of tiny spots. The original quilted paper which covers the bottles is stained (see photo). The blue, white and red large paper seal is not attached to the bottom of the box -- it is separate.
Size: Bottles vary in height from 1 1/4" h. to 2" h. Box: 10 1/4" long x 2 1/4" deep x 7/8" high.
Condition: No chips or cracks on the bottles or stoppers. Box: good condition -- no split sides.

Here is a very collectible and hard-to-find Lalique mini perfume bottle. Made by Nina Ricci for "L'Air du Temps," Eau de Toilette. The bottle is FULL -- NEVER OPENED. The cap is white plastic with vertical ridges. The bottle is a round, flask-shape. It has a scalloped design on the outer edges of the front and back, and is signed on the bottom, "LALIQUE FRANCE." The white label is embossed with a girl and a dove and has gold printing -- "L'Air du Temps, (Eau de Toilette), NINA RICCI, PARIS."
Size: 2" h. x 1 1/2" w. (at widest point).
Condition: Excellent. No chips or cracks on the bottle or cap. Very slight age soiling.

REDKEN LABS, PIQUET, COLOGNE, MINI PERFUME BOTTLE, c.1979
Here is a very collectible mini perfume bottle. Redken Labs, Inc. introduced "Piquet" in 1979. The decal label on the bottom of the bottle indicates the fluid content as 1/8 fl. oz. of Cologne. There is a little more than 50% of the original contents. The delicate stopper is plastic in the shape of a butterfly.
Size: 1 7/8" h. (to the tip of the wings).
Condition: The bottle and stopper, excellent, no chips or cracks, no damage to the stopper.

LENTHERIC, MIRACLE, MINI PERFUME BOTTLE, c.1924
This vintage purse-sized mini perfume bottle was made by Lentheric for the fragrance "Miracle." The bottle is empty. The fine glass bottle and silver metal overcap are elongated octagonal in shape. The overcap fits tightly over a notched area around the shoulders of the bottle. Two signature "L"s are impressed in the metal and painted with white enamel. The delicate glass inner stopper has a dauber attached to it. There are remnants of filament around the bottle neck and over the top of the stopper. A black-printed silver foil label is attached to the front, bottom edge, of the bottle. There is no fluid content marked on the label. No markings on the bottom of the bottle.
Size: 2" h. x 7/8" w.
Condition: Excellent. No chips or cracks on the bottle or stopper/dauber. The filament on the top of the stopper is cracked from age. Near mint label. Metal overcap, excellent, no dents.

Great collectible mini perfume bottle -- Parfums Capucci "Graffiti." The bottle has never been opened and is full with its original contents. The bottle is triangular in shape. The corner label is yellow, printed in dark brown lettering, with the fragrance and maker names, "Graffiti, PARFUMS CAPUCCI, PARIS." The cap is black plastic. The bottom of the bottle is marked in raised letters, "HP 12."
Size: 1 7/16" h x 5/8" w. (at the shoulders).
Condition: Excellent, no chips or cracks on the bottle or cap. Excellent label, no tears, stains or missing pieces, slight age soiling.

Here is a classic collectible mini perfume bottle, Raphael, "Replique." The bottle is about 3/4 full with its original contents. The white paper label is printed in black lettering with the fragrance and maker names, "Replique, RAPHAEL PARIS." The cap is gold metal. The bottom of the bottle is marked in raised letters, "RAPHAEL FRANCE."

BOMBI, ENTRE NOUS, 1/4 oz., PERFUME, PARFUM BOTTLE c.1948
Here is a hard-to-find perfume presentation for Bombi, "Entre Nous," 1/4 oz. (7.5ml). It features a ribbon-fold design on both sides with a stylized bow glass stopper. This bottle has never been opened. It is still sealed with a gold cord and tiny hang-tag, printed on both sides, with the name "Entre Nous, Parfum." There is also a clean pink label on the bottom. There is about 50% evaporation from age. This bottle comes with its original cotton wrap (not pictured) around the bottle neck. The box is printed gray and pink. It has a glossy pink paper base with a light pink satin lining. This is a MINT presentation.
Size: Bottle, 2 1/4" h. x 1 1/2" w. Box, 2 7/8" h.
Condition: The bottle and stopper are perfect, no chips or cracks. The hang-tag and bottom label, mint. The box lining is clean, no soiling (looks stained in the picture, it's just reflection), tiny scrape on the top edge of box cover (see additional photos).

HELENA RUBINSTEIN, APPLE BLOSSOM, MINI PERFUME BOTTLE WITH BOX, c.1942
This mini bottle is very difficult to find with its box. Helena Rubinstein's "Apple Blossom," 1 dram (1/8 oz., 3.75 ml). This bottle has never been opened and still retains a tiny bit of fragrance. There is a clear filament around the white bakelite cap. The label is pale pink cold-painted enameling. The bottom of the bottle is marked in raised letters "ENGLISH BOTTLE." The cardboard box is mostly pink with apple blossoms, green leaves and a yellow ribbon. The bottle and box are marked with the fluid content. Because the label is cold-painted -- this bottle should not be cleaned.
Size: Bottle -- 1 5/8" h. (4.1 cm). Box --1 3/4" h. approx. (4.4 cm approx.)
Condition: Bottle -- no chips or cracks on the bottle or cap. The filament has dried over the years and is split open on one side but still fits tightly around the cap and does not move. The enameled label shows slight age wear. Box -- good vintage condition but fragile, age wear, top flaps have been taped on the inside, bottom flap has what appears to be a pencil mark. Avoid opening and closing this box too often. (See additional photos.)

This mini bottle is very difficult to find with its box. Helena Rubinstein's "Town" c.1936. 1 dram (1/8 oz., 3.75 ml). This bottle has never been opened. There is a filament around the pink bakelite cap. A tiny bit of fragrance remains in the bottle. The label is black cold-painted enameling. The bottom of the bottle is marked in raised letters, "ENGLISH BOTTLE." The cardboard box is ivory-colored with gold lettering and has gold deco-looking sky scrapers on the front and back. Because the label is cold-painted -- this bottle should not be cleaned.
Size: Bottle -- 1 5/8" h. x 1 1/8" w. Box -- 1 3/4" h. approx.
Condition: Bottle -- excellent, no chips or cracks on the bottle or cap, excellent enameled labeling, filament is perfume stained but is in tact and fits tightly around the cap. Box -- good vintage condition but fragile, age wear, top flaps have been taped on the inside, top flap has a crimp on the back left corner, vertical scratch on the front near the right side and scratches across the center back. Condition: The bottle and cap are in mint condition. The label has a tiny bit of foil missing from the top left and right corners (see photo). The satin interior of the pouch is in mint condition -- no stains. The velvet exterior is lightly soiled from age and handling but is not stained from perfume. Overall, this presentation is in excellent condition for its age (circa 1951).

Jean Paul Gaultier offered this wonderful special presentation for the Valentines Day holiday in 1997. This creative whimsy has two torso bottles -- Gaultier's fragrance for women and for men, under a plastic dome. Mounted on a spring inside the dome is a cupid in a blue striped tee shirt and a plaid kilt. It was made in 1997 for this holiday and is quite rare to find. The presentation came in a cardboad sack instead of a box. The sack shows the two perfume bottles and the cupid on puffy white clouds. A unique and sought-after set!

This is a very unique and very hard to find mini perfume set. Produced by Sodiarlux (France) and called "The Perfumes of History's Most Famous Women." There are five mini bottles in the set. Each honors a famous woman of the past -- Cleopatra, The Queen of Sheba, Catherine the Great of Russia, Marie Antoinette, and the famous German World War I spy -- Mata Hari. Each brown glass bottle features the portrait of a celebrated woman on the front label. Each has a colored plastic cap with a dauber attached and is full of perfume. The oval heavy plastic box is wonderful. The interior has a wine-colored flocked and molded holder for the bottles. The outside of the box has colorful graphics and portraits that match the labels on the bottles. A tiny satin ribbon tab is attached to the lid for ease in opening the box. The unique bonus with this spectacular set is a "fan" of cards attached to the lid that have the biographies of each celebrity written in French on one side and English on the other. A complete presentation!
